Do you know what your Lord has said?
They said, “ALLAH and his Messenger know best.” He said:
This morning one of my servants became a believer in Me and one a disbeliever. As for him who said, “We have been given rain by virtue of ALLAH and His mercy,” that one is a believer in Me, a disbeliever in the stars; and as for him who said, “We have been given rain by such-and-such a star,” that one is a disbeliever in Me, a believer in the stars.

Hadith 6
Abu Huraira (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
Indeed, the first of people to have their case judged on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who was martyred. He will be brought and ALLAH ’s blessings will be made known and he will recognize them. ALLAH will say: What have you done concerning these blessings? The man will say: I fought in your cause until I was martyred. ALLAH will say: You have lied because you fought so that it would be said how courageous you are, and it was said. Then ALLAH will order him to be dragged upon his face into the Hellfire. Another man learned religious knowledge, taught others, and recited the Quran. He will be brought and ALLAH ’s blessings will be made known and he will recognize them. ALLAH will say: What have you done concerning these blessings? The man will say: I learned religious knowledge, taught others, and I recited the Quran for Your sake. ALLAH will say: You have lied because you learned religious knowledge so that it would be said you are a scholar and you recited the Quran so that it would be said you are a reciter, and it was said. Then ALLAH will order him to be dragged upon his face into the Hellfire. Another man was given an abundance from ALLAH and was given every kind of wealth. He will be brought and ALLAH ’s blessings will be made known and he will recognize them. ALLAH will say: What have you done concerning these blessings? The man will say: I spent money in every cause upon which You wished it to be spent. ALLAH will say: You have lied because you spent money so that it would be said how generous you are, and it was said. Then ALLAH will order him to be dragged upon his face into the Hellfire.

Uqbah Ibn Amir (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
"Your Lord delights at a shepherd who, on the peak of a mountain crag, gives the call to prayer and prays. Then ALLAH , glorified and exalted is He, will say, “Look at this servant of Mine, he gives the call to prayer and performs the prayers; he is in awe of Me. I have forgiven My servant for his sins and have admitted him to Paradise.”

''A prayer performed by someone who has not recited the Mother of the Quran [Surah Al-Fatihah] during it is deficient, incomplete.''
(Sunan An-Nasa’i, Book of the Call to Prayer, Number 666, Sahih)
He repeated these words three times. Someone said to Abu Hurairah, “Even though we are behind the Imam?” He said: Recite it to yourself, for I have heard the Messenger of ALLAH say,
ALLAH, Mighty and Exalted is He, had said, “I have divided prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what he has asked for. When the servant says: Praise be to ALLAH Lord of the Worlds (الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ), ALLAH says, “My servant has praised Me (حَمِدَنِي عَبْدِي).” And when he says: The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ), ALLAH says, “My servant has extolled Me (أَثْنَى عَلَيَّ عَبْدِي),” and when he says: Master of the Day of Judgment (مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ), ALLAH says, “My servant has glorified Me (مَجَّدَنِي عَبْدِي)” and on one occasion He said, “My servant has submitted to My power (وَّضَ إِلَيَّ عَبْدِي).” And when he says: You alone we worship, You alone we ask for help (إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ), ALLAH says, “This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for (هَذَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ).” And when he says: Guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom you have favored, not those who went astray (اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ), ALLAH says, “This is for My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for (لِعَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ).”

Abu Huraira (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
"The first actions for which a servant of ALLAH will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, then he will have prospered and succeeded; but if they are lacking, then he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers then the Lord the Exalted will say: see if My servant has any extra prayers which can complete what is defective in his obligatory prayers. Then the rest of his actions will be judged in the same way."

Hadith 10
Abu Huraira (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said: ALLAH the Almighty said,
"All the deeds of the children of Adam are for them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it."
Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said further:
"Fasting is a shield from the fire and from sin. If one of you is fasting, he should avoid sexual relations with his wife and arguments. If somebody should fight or argue with him, he should say, “I am fasting.” By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, the unpleasant smell coming from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of ALLAH than the smell of musk. There are two pleasures for the fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast and the other when he meets his Lord; then he will be pleased because of his fasting."

Hadith 13
Adiyy Ibn Hatim reported (ALLAH Bless With Him): I was with the Messenger of ALLAH, (Peace Be Upon Him), and there came to him two men: one of them was complaining of poverty, while the other was complaining of robbery. The Messenger of ALLAH said:
As for the obstruction of the roads, it will not be long until a caravan will travel to Mecca without any guard. As for poverty, the Hour will not be established until one of you goes out looking to give charity but will find no one to accept it. Each one of you will stand in front of ALLAH without a barrier or interpreter between him and ALLAH. ALLAH will ask: Did I not give you wealth? He will say yes. ALLAH will ask: Did I not send you a messenger? He will say yes. Then he will look to his right and see nothing but Hellfire, and he will look to his left and see nothing but Hellfire. Therefore, any one of you should save himself from the Fire by giving even a half of a date in charity, and if you do not have it then say a kind word.

Hadith 14
Abu Huraira (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
Verily, ALLAH the Blessed and Exalted has caravans of angels who have no other work but to follow assemblies of remembrance. When they find such assemblies in which there is remembrance, they sit with them and some of them surround the others with their wings until the space between them and the heaven is covered. When they disperse, they ascend to the heaven and ALLAH the Exalted asks them – although he is best informed about them: From where have you come? They say: We came from Your servants on earth who were glorifying You, declaring Your greatness and oneness, praising You and asking from You. ALLAH will say: What do they ask from Me? They say: They ask You for Your Paradise. ALLAH will say: Have they seen My Paradise? They say: No, our Lord. ALLAH will say: What if they were to see My Paradise? They say: They seek Your protection. ALLAH will say: From what do they seek My protection? They say: Our Lord, from the Hellfire. ALLAH will say: Have they seen My Hellfire? They say: No. ALLAH will say: What if they were to see My Hellfire? They say: They ask for Your forgiveness. ALLAH will say: I will pardon them, give them what they ask, and grant them protection. They say: Our Lord, there is one among them, a simple servant who happened to pass by and sat there alongside them. ALLAH will say: I also grant him pardon, for whoever sits with these fellows will not suffer.

Ibn Abbas (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: Among the sayings of the Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him), that he related from his Lord Almighty is that he said:
Indeed, ALLAH has recorded good and bad deeds and He made them clear. Whoever intends to perform a good deed but does not do it, then ALLAH will record it as a complete good deed, but if he intends to do it and does so, then ALLAH the Exalted will record it as ten good deeds up to seven hundred times as much or even more; if he intends to do a bad deed and does not do it, then ALLAH will record for him one complete good deed, but if he does it then ALLAH will record for him a single bad deed.

Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: Among the sayings of the Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him), that he related from his Lord Almighty is that he said:
O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you. O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you. O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and you will not attain benefiting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more than a needle decreases the sea if put into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him who finds good praise ALLAH and let him who finds other than that blame no one but himself.

Hadith 21
Abu Huraira (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
ALLAH said: There are three persons whom I will oppose on the Day of Resurrection: a man who gives his word by Me but proves treacherous; a man who sells a free person and consumes the price; and a man who employs a worker and receives a completed job but he does not pay him his wages.

Hadith 22
Abu Sa’id (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
Let not one of you belittle himself.
They said, “O Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him), how can any one of us belittle himself?” He said:
He finds a matter regarding ALLAH about which he should speak up but he does not. ALLAH the Exalted will say to him on the Day of Resurrection: What prevented you from speaking up about such-and-such? He will say: It was out of fear of the people. ALLAH will say: Rather, it is I who deserves to be feared.

Hadith 24
Abu Huraira (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
Verily, if ALLAH has loved a servant, He calls Gabriel (Peace On Him) and says, “I love so-and-so, therefore love him.” So Gabriel loves him. Then he calls out in heaven, saying, “ALLAH loves so-and-so, therefore love him.” And the inhabitants of heaven love him. Then acceptance is established for him on earth. And if ALLAH has disliked a servant, He calls Gabriel and says, “I dislike so-and-so, therefore dislike him.” So Gabriel dislikes him. Then Gabriel calls out to the inhabitants of heaven, “ALLAH dislikes so-and-so, therefore dislike him.” So they dislike him, and abhorrence is established for him on earth.

Hadith 25
Abu Huraira (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
ALLAH Almighty said: Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask (something) of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about seizing the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him.
(Sahih Bukhari, Book 76, Number 509)

Abu Umamah (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
ALLAH Almighty said: Verily, the one most devoted to Me whom I favor is a believer of simple means and given to prayer, who has been excellent in the worship of his Lord and has obeyed him in secret, who was obscure among the people and not famous, whose sustenance was barely sufficient yet he bore this patiently.
Then the Prophet rapped his hand and he said:
Death will have come early to him, his mourners will have been few, his estate scant.

Hadith 27
Masruq (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: We asked Abdullah Ibn Masud (ALLAH Bless With Him) about this verse:
Do not regard those who have been killed in the cause of ALLAH as dead, rather are they alive with their Lord, being provided for.
(Sura Ali Imran 3:169)
He said: We asked about that and the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said:
Their souls are in the insides of green birds having lanterns suspended from the Throne, roaming freely in Paradise where they please, then taking shelter in those lanterns. So their Lord cast a glance at them and said, “Do you wish for anything?” They said, “What shall we wish for when we roam freely in Paradise where we please?” And thus did He go to them three times. When they say that they would not be spared from being asked again, they said, “O Lord, we would like for You to put back our souls into our bodies so that we might fight for Your sake once again. And when He saw that they were not in need of anything they were let be.”

Aishah (ALLAH Bless With Her) said, “O Prophet of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him), is it because of the dislike of death? For all of us dislike death.” He said:

O son of Adam, if you have sins piling up to the clouds and then ask My forgiveness, I will forgive you without any reservation. Hadith 36
Anas Ibn Malik (ALLAH Bless With Him) reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (Peace Be Upon Him) said,
The believers will gather together on the Day of Resurrection and will say, “Should we not ask someone to intercede for us with our Lord?” So they will come to Adam and will say, “You are the Father of mankind. ALLAH created you with His Hand, He made His angels bow down to you, and He taught you the names of everything, so intercede for us with your Lord so that He may give us relief from this place where we are.” Adam will say, “I am not in a position to do that,” – and he will mention his wrongdoing and will feel ashamed and will say, “Go to Noah, for he is the first messenger that ALLAH sent to the inhabitants of the earth.” So they will come to him and Noah will say, “I am not in a position to do that,” – and he will mention his having requested something of his Lord about which he had no proper knowledge (See Verses 11:45-46), and he will feel ashamed and will say, “Go to the Friend of the Merciful.” So they will come to him and Abraham will say, “I am not in a position to do that. Go to Moses, a servant to whom ALLAH talked and to whom He gave the Torah.” So they will come to him and Moses will say, “I am not in a position to do that,” – and he will mention the talking of a life other than for a life (See Verses 28:15-16), and he will feel ashamed in the sight of his Lord and will say, “Go to Jesus, ALLAH’s servant and messenger, ALLAH’s word and spirit.” So they will come to him and Jesus will say, “I am not in a position to do that. Go to Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) a servant to whom ALLAH has forgiven all his wrongdoing, past and future.” So they will come to me and I shall set forth to ask permission to come to my Lord, and permission will be given, and when I shall see my Lord I shall prostrate myself. He will leave me thus for such time as it pleases Him, and then it will be said to me, “Raise your head. Ask and it will be granted. Speak and it will be heard. Intercede and your intercession will be accepted.” So I shall raise my head and praise Him with a form of praise that He will teach me. Then I shall intercede and He will set me a limit, so I shall admit them into Paradise. Then I shall return to Him, and when I shall see my Lord I shall bow down as before. Then I shall intercede and He will set me a limit, so I shall admit them into Paradise. Then I shall return for a third time, then a fourth, and I shall say, “There remains in Hellfire only those whom the Quran has confined and who must be there for eternity.” There shall come out of Hellfire he who has said, “There is no god but ALLAH,” and who has in his heart goodness weighing of a barley corn; then there shall come out of Hellfire he who has said, “There is no god but ALLAH,” and who has in his heart goodness weighing a grain of wheat; then there shall come out of Hellfire he who has said, “There is no god but ALLAH,” and who has in his heart goodness weighing an atom.
